Pure XMLmetaPackager™ Digital Collections (Imaging)

Many industries (such as health care, government, etc.) utilize solutions for imaging and storage of information. Generally, these types of documents are grouped in collections. HiSoftware's metaPackager™ is the industry's first "digital snapshot" software that allows for the transfer of “meaning and rich metadata” within the document!

For example: Imaging Workflow

In an imaging system for health care claims, like the HCF 1500 and UB-92, claims are grouped in batches and scanned.

Now you have a database that indexes the tiffs and holds all the information on the tiffs.  There are simply too many moving parts to this solution! If your database index becomes corrupted, as inevitably it will over time, you have to rebuild it by rescanning batches or by hand entry and scanning.

1. Create the batch

2. Scan the batch

3. OCR if required

4. Save batch information and OCR into a database
like an Oracle® or Microsoft® Access®
5. Save the Images (Tiff)

Now take your imaging system and incorporate our technology.

Now you have both the image and index information in one location. This information is now available via your Intranet or Internet search interface. If it becomes corrupted, than simply run a re-index! You Get: One file that is index able, portable, retrievable, and secure. A document that represents a digital time capsule on the day it was created requiring no outside reference to identify what it means.

1. Create the batch

2. Scan the batch

3. OCR if required

4. Save the images (Tiff) as a Pure XML Package
