OVERVIEW

This hands-on course covers the process-based functionality of the AccMonitor® Site Quality Module. Students completing this 1 day course will be able to identify and explain errors in Web sites that may drive visitors away. This course is designed to train individuals to make the most effective use of the Site Quality Modules powerful features for achieving and maintaining a trouble free web site. 

The Site Quality Module provides an enterprise test management system that enables automated, scheduled and on demand monitoring of multiple Web sites for site quality and change management. It provides a unified approach that will meet the demands of both your business and technical constituencies, assisting IT managers and Web managers in monitoring the structural integrity of their enterprise Web sites, as well as assisting business decision makers with real time monitoring of competitors' sites for changing content.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Students will learn to use the Site Quality Module software to test Web sites for site quality and change management. Extensive hands-on labs ensure that you leave the class with the skills necessary to implement unsurpassed team services workflow capabilities and a flexible, scalable enterprise monitoring system. This course teaches you to:

  • Identify site quality issues that may be currently going unnoticed.

  • Orphan File Analysis - Run a proactive, automated, configurable Orphan File Analysis on your server.

  • Validate that the pages, bookmarks or objects linked to in the site exist.

  • Validate all object errors or server errors.

  • Monitor Site up / down.

  • Customize Content Alerts.

  • Validate browser compatibility.

  • Identify remote links.
