Selects HiSoftware’s Solutions to Ensure
Site Quality and Accessibility of
College Web Sites
CONCORD, NH – September 19, 2003 --
HiSoftware, Inc., the leader in

University of Massachusetts-Boston
(“UMass Boston”) will be implementing a
campus wide license of HiSoftware’s
desktop and automated server solutions
to evaluate, remediate and monitor Web
sites and Web applications for custom
content quality standards, conformance
with Section 508 of the federal
government's Rehabilitation Act, and
international accessibility guidelines
set forth by the World Wide Web
Consortium (W3C). These solutions allow
Universities to audit Web sites, Web
applications and Web based courses for
accessibility and to provide content
creators and managers with tools for
managing and delivering content that is
accessible to users of assistive
technologies.
Under the terms of the agreement,
HiSoftware Company will provide its
AccMonitor Server Enterprise software to
UMass Boston and will also provide a
campus wide license of
AccVerify/AccRepair DS2 Editions for use
on any campus PCs. HiSoftware’s product
line includes a combination of
user-driven interactive desktop
solutions that allow developers to test
their content for conformance with
standards, and server side remote
applications that allow for automated
and remote testing.
