HiSoftware Releases Hi-Stats™ - Web Site Visitor Tracking Solution Provides Analysis and Reporting Without Server Access

Concord, New Hampshire – August 4, 2000 – Over ninety percent of Web site owners do not have access to their web servers for information about visitors to their site. Providing server access to customers exposes Web hosting companies to significant security risks, yet customers need this essential information to successfully manage their Internet presence. Responding to this need, Hiawatha Island Software Company, Inc. (HiSoftware) today released Hi-Stats™, the first Web site visitor log analysis and reporting tool that does not require direct server access. Hi-Stats provides reporting capabilities with the depth and breadth required to meet the needs of web site owners ranging from the Internet entrepreneur to the largest enterprise customer.

Hi-Stats requires no special programming or installation. It provides up-to-date, browser-based reports by the day or hour. Standard reports include:

·         Visitor behavior: Analyzes how visitors find your site, which pages generate the heaviest traffic, and where you might be losing customers. Specific reports trace new and repeat visitors by region, average number of requests and domain-tracking.

·         Site statistics: This includes URLs visited, resources accessed, total hits, size of total downloads, referring URLs, and a log of keywords and keyword phrases.

·         Errors: Provides statistics on failed URLs, hits and browser errors.

·         Advertising campaign reporting: Reports on views and clicks and affiliate link tracking.

Hi-Stats also supports virtual domains and bandwidth reporting.

Pricing and Availability

Hi-Stats is available in three versions to meet the needs of small- to medium-sized organizations and the enterprise customer. Pricing is as follows for a single user license:

·         Hi-Stats                                                             $99.99 supports three websites;

·         Hi-Stats Professional                                     $199.99 supports up to 50 websites;

·         Hi-Stats Premium Enterprise Version               $499.99 supports unlimited websites.

System Requirements

Hi-Stats requires an IBM PC or compatible with minimum 16 MB RAM and 16 MB free disk space. Operating systems supported are Windows® 95/98, Windows® 2000 and Windows NT®.
