the Navy Establishes Blanket Purchase
Agreement with DLT Solutions for
HiSoftware, Inc. Web Site
Accessibility Solutions
Department of
Defense agencies to have easy
procurement options for Web site
accessibility software
CONCORD, NH –
August 23, 2001 – HiSoftware, Inc.
announced today that its Web site
accessibility products are now
available to Department of Defense
agencies through a Blanket Purchase
Agreement with the Department of the
Navy as part of the Department of
Defense Enterprise Software
Initiative. The Enterprise Software
Initiative is a joint DOD project to
develop and implement a DOD enterprise
process to identify, acquire,
distribute, and manage enterprise
software. This Blanket Purchase
Agreement was issued to DLT Solutions,
a GSA schedule holder for HiSoftware’s
full product line. These solutions
help organizations develop long-term
strategies to achieve Web content
accessibility, enhance usability, and
comply with U.S. and international
accessibility standards.

the Department of Defense through this
special contract vehicle. Through a
combination of our client and server
software, DOD content providers will
be well-equipped to achieve and
maintain Web site accessibility,” said

site accessibility solutions allow
multiple users to work collaboratively
on Web site repair. This provides
dramatic reductions in time and
resources allocated to Section 508
compliance. Additionally, HiSoftware

available as integrated Microsoft
FrontPage add-ons. Government
