HiSoftware and Microsoft to Present Sessions at FOSE 2007 on Online Accessibility Compliance and Managing Risk and Privacy Issues

WHAT: HiSoftware (www.hisoftware.com), a leading provider of software, services and managed operation solutions that monitor and optimize Web content, quality and regulatory compliance, will present three joint sessions with Microsoft at FOSE 2007 discussing online accessibility compliance and how government agencies can manage risk and online privacy issues.

The first seminar, titled “Incorporating Section 508 Accessibility Compliance into the Design, Development and Deployment Life Cycle” will address the importance of a comprehensive, cost-effective accessibility solution. The presentation will outline how Microsoft VISTA and the enterprise content management features of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and HiSoftware’s solutions can empower users to create accessible Web sites.

“Managing Risk and Online Privacy to Maximize Compliance Results: Best Practices Solutions for Managing Online Privacy” will highlight how government agencies can address FISMA, OMB and Privacy Act requirements for managing, maintaining and reporting on agency privacy policy practices. This session will show how technology solutions can assist agencies in identifying, assigning and tracking any online privacy issues through the testing, repairing, enforcing and reporting of compliance issues across the organization’s Web properties.

“Building a Trustworthy Computing Environment” will outline how today's technology can assist government agencies in providing a secure, private, accessible and reliable computing experience for everyone based on best business practices. This presentation from Microsoft and HiSoftware will discuss how government agencies can implement a trustworthy computing environment "from the ground up" employing a trusted platform, development solutions and compliance monitoring solutions.
