Horizontal Bars:
The AKS solution will help get you started on the road to Web accessibility with an accessible platform/framework from which to launch your portal or intranet site. To further improve the accessibility of a SharePoint site, HiSoftware is in the final stages of creating their Accessible Rich Text Editor (aRTE), developed to replace SharePoint’s out-of-the box Rich Text Editor. The key difference between the two is the fact that it produces accessible content, and is also made more accessible to use.

1. Vertical One: For the Template Designer there is AccRepair® for Microsoft SharePoint® Designer which offers basic Architecture Accessibility.
   AKS provides accessibility improvements to MOSS applications through content, Web pages, templates, etc. Repair utility allows users to make wizard-based repairs to content.

2. Vertical Two: For the Content Creator there is HiSoftware PageTester^TM for MOSS which offers Content Accessibility on a per Page Basis.
   Allows content providers to test and validate individual MOSS pages for accessibility using a hosted Web-based test prior to publication.

3. Vertical Three: For Enterprise Governance there is HiSoftware Compliance Sheriff^TM for MOSS which offers collaborative workflow and scorecard reporting.
   This provides automated accessibility, privacy, and content monitoring for organizations by utilizing SharePoint's Workflow to test and identify issues.
