*  Hi-Caption™ Viewer Component

Live Preview on StageGet started with the Hi-Caption™ Viewer Component for use with Macromedia Flash today!
With Hi-Caption you will have created your first captioned Flash Movie minutes after your install is complete!

The HiSoftware Hi-Caption Viewer Control allows users of Flash a method to include synchronized captioning inside of Macromedia Flash presentations. The HiSoftware Hi-Caption Viewer Control works in conjunction with Hi-Caption.

Using the Hi-Caption Viewer

In Hi-Caption, create your captioning file for your media file and save the captioning in XML format, using the Save as XML option from the File menu.

  • Open Macromedia Flash and open a Flash project that contains the multimedia file you captioned in Hi-Caption.
  • From the Window menu in Flash, select Components.
  • From Components, drag an instance of the Hi-Caption Viewer onto your stage.
  • Set the various properties available for the Hi-Caption Viewer object, based on the properties below.

Watch the Component In Action!

Note, the component is configurable, can be made to use the fully customizable default look and feel or use components that are already part of your flash movie.
