the left
side of the
majority of
our web
site. The

Well Named
Links
HiSoftware
links
provide
meaning for
where you
are going,
for example
a link will
say what it
is for
example
"Related
Books"
versus
"Related
Books Click
Here" where
is used for
the
hyperlink.
Leaving our
site
HiSoftware
has begun a
total
redesign
that will
allow the
user to
determine if
a link will
leave our
site by
following a
basic
usability
construct
that all
programs
follow. In a
Program if a
menu option
or a button
are going to
open a new
window then
there will
be an
Ellipse,
e.g. "About
..." in this
example the
page will
open a new
window in
the
application.
HiSoftware
will use a
... suffix
to any link
to a page
that will
open a new
window. It
is
anticipated
that all
17,000+
pages in
HiSoftware.Com
will follow
this policy
by September
2002.
