Accessibility Kit for SharePoint 2007
The Accessibility Kit for SharePoint 2007 (AKS) software and documentation have
been moved to Codeplex (http://aks2007.codeplex.com/),
a site hosted by Microsoft for open source software. Please see the CodePlex discussion
forum with any questions.
Accessibility in SharePoint has been improved with the release of SharePoint 2010.
Many SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010 users desiring a higher level of SharePoint
framework accessibility (Section 508; WCAG 2.0 Level AA) have opted for HiSoftware
Compliance Sheriff Accessibility Foundation Module (AFM) for SharePoint.
To address the content compliance issues including accessibility, privacy and offensive
language of on SharePoint intranets, external sites, My Sites, Team Sites, blogs,
wikis, etc., the HiSoftware Compliance Sheriff solution is fully integrated with SharePoint 2007/2010 to prevent
inaccessible content from being posted on SharePoint sites.
